Hi Sokome. Gabes is located in Southern Tunisia along the Mediterranean coast. The best way to visit there is by car which takes about 2 hours of driving from Sfax, and about 2.5 hours of driving from Djerba Island. Gafsa is also considered to be part of Southern Tunisia, but the city is located more inland. It is also accessible by car and it makes for a great stopover or spending a night when visiting other southern cities such as Tozeur or Douz.
