The festival is usually between December 23-29 but it is not uncommon for the exact time of the festival to be announced less then 1 month before the festival start date, or to change the date less then 1 month from the time. Hi Holly. The dates for this year’s International Festival of the Sahara in Douz have not been announced yet. It typically takes place at the end of December. Last year’s event took place from December 27-30, so we can expect the festival this year to be around the same time.
